Anthony Albanese has taken his campaign to Collie, one of the seven towns targeted by the Coalition to host a nuclear reactor, where Peter Dutton is yet to visit.

Anthony Albanese has become the first party leader to visit a proposed nuclear reactor site this election campaign, with Peter Dutton facing continued questions over whether he is avoiding the communities that will be affected by the contentious policy.

During last night’s Nine Network debate, Mr Albanese repeatedly made the point that Mr Dutton had yet to visit a potential nuclear site.

He won’t go near them because he knows that it just doesn’t stack up, which is why the private sector won’t fund them,” Mr Albanese said on Tuesday night.
